Sun Buddy is made from durable ABS plastic with a riveted clip to firmly secure the unit at any position along the helmet bill.  The anchor clip has multiple polyurethane pads to prevent slipping and to ensure a firm grip on the bill.  A soft neoprene tab at the top of the Sun Buddy blocks light that might otherwise filter through any gap at the bill.  The rider’s side of the Sun Buddy is coated flat black to prevent reflection. 

• ADJUSTABLE:

Once in place, firmly grasp the helmet bill with one hand and with the other hand, bend the Sun Buddy clip outward until a clear view of the road ahead is achieved.  The amount of bend will depend on the particular bill and helmet the rider is using.  Pay particular attention to your head position and your view of the road when making turns to establish the proper amount of bend necessary for an unobstructed view.

• LOW SUN ANGLE BLOCKING:

Comfortably and safely ride an hour earlier or later against the sun.  Minimize the danger of being blinded or the fatigue from squinting at the low sun road ahead.

• FACE SHIELD GLARE MITIGATION:

Position your Sun Buddy to cast a shadow on your scratched or dusty face shield at any time of the day to avoid reflected glare.  When not in use, slip your Sun Buddy to the far side edge of your visor bill or put it in your pocket or tank bag.

• Passenger Comfort:

Remember your passenger.  Sun Glare is just a much of a problem to them as well … Have a spare.
